The 2^nd Hainan International Designers Competition organized by China Industrial Design Association, Industry and Information Technology Department of Hainan, Wanning Municipal People's Government and supported by GDIO has been closed with a great success!

As the theme of Design Free Trade Port, the 2^nd HIDC is striving for building a design island with innovative designers around the world. The innovative design shall bring vitality to Hainan, including cultural tourism design, architectural & environmental design, industrial design, and digital creative design etc. 

As the 2^nd session with a total of 1,475 submissions, the Competition has attracted over 62 participants around the world including the United States, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Netherlands, Brazil, and other countries.

After the experienced and professional panel selected the winners who presented high-standard design, there are 54 designers awarded with 3 Gold Awards, 5 Silver Awards, 20 Bronze Awards, 15 Excellent Awards and 19 Excellent designers awards.

As a global platform of design industry, GDIO are committed to providing valuable resources to the members of GDIO and would like to work together with the leading figures, emerging talents, enterprises, organizations, and academies of design around the world for a better design future.
