In  order to further implement the strategy of innovation-driven development and  talent power, and promote the process of school-enterprise cooperation and the  integration of industry and education, the Unified Innovation College of  Industrial Design was successfully held in Yantai from September 18 to 21. This  course is co-sponsored by Unified Innovation University of Industrial Design,  ccbkabook, Changzhou Institute of Technology, and hosted by Shandong Industrial  Design Institute, and is strongly supported by the Bureau of Industry and  Information Technology of Yantai and Yantai High-tech Industrial Development  Zone Administrative Commission. More than 70 teachers and students from the  School of Art and Design of Changzhou Institute of Technology gathered in Yantai  International Design Town to participate in the course.

The  Unified Innovation College of Industrial Design is jointly established by more  than 50 well-known universities and companies at home and abroad in 2019. The  college takes school-enterprise cooperation, mass creation, and common thinking  as the main research model, also takes the real needs of enterprises and society  as the actual topic, and takes the chief engineer, director and chief designer  of enterprises as the teaching mentor. It provides independent innovation and  practice opportunities for design talents in various universities with  multi-specialty crossing and close combination of production, university and  research. 

So  far, three editions have been successfully carried out and more than 200  students from many universities at home and abroad have attended. The mechanism  of this college is to break the barrier between universities and industries,  which is a major breakthrough in fostering talents and building models of  industrial innovation and integration.
