Hello, everyone. I'm Xu Sun. I'm Martijn ten Bhömer. We are representing of University of Nottingham, Faculty of Science and Engineering, teaching product design and manufacturing program.

We educate designers, value creativity backed by a thorough understanding of engineering issues. We hope to contribute to the design industry by, first of all, educating young designers who have a mix of creativity, engineering, but also things like sustainability and user-centred design, who can really bring a positive impact to the world. Further, we also hope to contribute by providing design research.

So we hope, for example, by academic methods, new tools, new processes that we can help the industry to level their practices up. And finally, we also hope to bring new collaborations between academia and industry, for example, local partners here in Ningbo, but also a national and international level.

We're honored to be a part of the Global Design Industry Organization. And we are really happy to see the launch of the platform and also now the launch of the website and the new logo. So we want to say congratulations to everybody!
